Hi, I’m Rin.

I am a seeker

with wandering eyes, born between cultures — Japanese and Indonesian — in a world where I often felt in-between, seen as “half” yet searching quietly for a place to belong. Growing up in a local Japanese neighborhood, I felt that English was the doorway for me to be someone different, and I carried the subtle pressure to fit into a broader world beyond Japan, even before I fully understood why.

Through university and beyond, I stepped into international spaces — first through friendships, then through travel and study abroad — learning to stand not as “the Japanese girl”, but simply as myself, Rin. In Western and global communities, I finally tasted freedom — freedom from cultural constraints, freedom to express, to explore, to become someone that I wanted to be.

Yet, as I reached the dreams I once chased, I discovered a new truth: that this outer freedom alone could not satisfy the deeper seeker within me. The physical practice of yoga first opened a doorway inward, teaching me to listen to my body, to trust intuition, and to find presence beyond achievement.

But even yoga’s physicality held limits until I encountered the rich philosophy of yoga alongside the spiritual teachings of Islam. This awakened in me a reverence for a higher presence — a divine light beyond the self — and a call to live with honesty, morality, and gratitude. It reconnected me to roots I had long set aside, shifting my values from a Western lens back toward my roots and spiritual foundation.

Now, my seeking is no longer about chasing status, possessions, or appearances. It is about becoming my higher self — walking with purpose, embodying kindness, and contributing quietly to the wellbeing of those I love and the world around me.

I am still a seeker — not lost, but evolving — a companion to others walking their own paths back to the light within. This is the luminous path I now walk, and it is with open heart and steady step that I invite others to walk with me.

I’m an achiever and a carer

I’ve been running without pause—striving to meet expectations, keeping everyone happy, building something meaningful. I gave so much of myself because harmony matters to me, because I want those around me to feel good, because serving brings me joy.

I hold many roles—daughter, mother, friend, colleague—and through it all, you try to stay strong and whole. Yet, beneath it all, there’s a quiet ache. A whisper: Something’s missing. Am I really okay like this?

I know this place.

I was there too—all along my journey—holding everything together, smiling, showing up, doing all I could to keep harmony. But inside, my light felt dimmed.

So I gave myself space. I journaled, moved, studied scriptures, and breathed.

I turned to yoga, Eastern spiritual teachings, and gentle devotion. I listened. I questioned.

Then, I remembered.

That inner knowing had never left me—it was just waiting for me to return. And when I did, my light came back. Now I can fully trust it.

I became more than steady, but whole. At peace. Able to serve without losing myself. Able to walk with purpose and clarity, rooted in the Divine love and light flowing through me.

How Do I Want to Serve

Walking with you toward the light within—through yoga, timeless wisdom, and devotion

Not as a teacher above you,
but as a companion beside you.

Through the grace of asana practice,
the wisdom of timeless teachings,
reflection, and devotion to the Source.

I hold space for you to come home—
to the light that has always lived within,
even amid all the life responsibilities and events.

For those who long for more than movement—
who seek depth, clarity, and a life rooted in meaning.

Together, we journey toward wholeness,
where your soul feels seen and your light blooms quietly, yet surely, from within.

A little more about me

I’m from Tokyo, now based in Kyoto, Japan, and rooted in a beautiful blend of Japanese and Indonesian heritage.
My academic path began with a degree in Movement Sciences, focusing on supporting people with and without disabilities—a foundation that deepened my understanding of the body and its potential for harmony.

My wandering eyes have taken me to ground across the globe—Australia, Indonesia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, and all other different cultures I walked with my backpack— each place and people I encountered shaping my perspective and sense of connection with the landscape, culture, community, and their way of life. And this built who I am now.

I love moving my body, exploring the world like a local, and creating joy through food—especially cooking dishes from diverse cultures.
